Reaching out for help...

I understand that reaching out for therapy can be daunting and it is completely normal to feel uncertain or apprehensive about it.  At the same time, it is important to acknowledge that coming for therapy does not mean you have a “disorder” and it is not a sign of “weakness”. Instead, it is an act of self-care and bravery as it takes a certain amount of courage to share your inner world with someone. Many people, including successful, high achieving individuals engage in therapy to manage their stress, improve relationships and maintain their well-being. Therapy is a tool that empowers you to face your life challenges more effectively so you can live a life that is worth living.
